Imagination Station

The Place to Help Our Students Grow While Meeting Them Where They're At

EPE Imagination Station-05

Vision & Future of EPE

We officially opened the Bob Bruggeman Imagination Station at Edison Park Elementary in April 2024. After a two-and-a-half-year process, what was once an unused classroom has turned into an amazing exploratorium for students. The goal of the space is to meet the sensory needs of students throughout the school day.

Purpose and Use

Some classes are signing up for time each day while others are using it to provide students with brain breaks. It is a space where students can explore and use a wide range of materials that can be mentally stabilizing, physically challenging, or just cool to play with.

Community Lead

This was truly a grassroots project. We had staff, families, and students help get this space ready for all to use. One student today said “This is the best place in the world. I love it!”...and he was not the only one.  That was enough for us to realize it was worth all the hard work we put into creating this space for students.
