Good day, EPE Community.
Before we jump into the big news, I wanted to share a few quick things. Parent-Teacher Conference Sign Ups: Tomorrow, Tuesday, I will send out a link for you to sign up for Parent-Teacher conferences on Tuesday, April 1st. Lost & Found: We will be cleaning out our lost and found on April 2nd, the day after Parent-Teacher conferences so please have your child take a look for their lost jackets, sweatshirts, and I think we even have a retainer (JK).
On to the more fun stuff! We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to making Family Fit Night such a resounding success! The evening was packed with both fitness and fun, and we couldn’t have done it without the support of our amazing community. A special thank you to our incredible partners who led the sessions: Momentum Performing Arts, Notre Dame High School, Anywhere Fitness, Chicago Loves Dance, and Fonseca Martial Arts. We also appreciate the PTA for providing the delicious smoothie samples! Lastly, a huge thank you to all the families who attended and to the middle school teachers who graciously allowed us to use their classrooms and helped with the setup. Your support made this event truly unforgettable!
And we forget forget Ms. Carman and Ms. Martin who planned this event for our students. We are grateful for their dedication to our students to providing experiences for our families to be part of at the school. THANK YOU!

I also want to thank Gigi Guercio and all of the others from the EPE Mom’s Club who organized Friday’s The Lucky Guy & Me Dance. By the amount of sweaty boys, St. Pat’s memorabilia, and happy mom’s, it was obvious this was a wonderful event. Thank you for organizing this for our community!

“Rock Your Socks” is a popular campaign and activity associated with World Down Syndrome Day, observed on March 21st, encouraging people to wear brightly colored or mismatched socks to raise awareness and celebrate Down SyndromeWhy March 21st?
The date, March 21st, is symbolic because people with Down syndrome have three copies of their 21st chromosome, hence the “3/21” significance.
