Good day, EPE Community.
I wanted to share a few quick things as we prepare for the students’ first day of school on Monday! I will try to keep it short and sweet but provide you with all of the information you need.
- Sign up for our mailing list on our school website here. After the first week of school, this will be the only way that I contact families when blasting out information. I do NOT use Aspen due to its limitations with its email & not having the ability to get in touch with multiple contacts for each student.
- The first few days of school are always a little messy when it comes to arrival and drop off. Please be safe when driving/parking around the school campus. It is best to park a little far away and walk over to the building. This map explains it all! DO NOT STOP/PARK IN THE DROP OFF LANE! And, don’t block alleyways, driveways, crosswalks and anything else that is stupid. The time of others is just as important as yours so don’t be a jerk. Please be considerate of others!
- All teachers will be at the same doors for arrival/dismissal. The images below show where each teacher will be for the year. You can see a bigger version here.
- If you even need to get a hold of any staff member, you can do so through our website. Hover over ABOUT US and select TEACHER/STAFF Directory. We do our best to keep our website up to date so it is the best place to look for dates and events.
- I normally send out weekly Principal’s Messages on Mondays. Read them, don’t read them. It is up to you. However, know that I post all of them on our website if you ever need any information. I recommend reading the one from May 5, 2019. It’s a classic. I joke…but I keep all Principal’s Messages posted so you can access them at any time.
- Don’t worry about school forms at this time. We will blast out information about school forms through Docusign sometime this week or early next week. We try to make it as easy as possible for parents.
- Here are a few additional things for you to be aware of this week:
Calling all MOM’s! Join our EPE community and connect with other moms! Scan the barcode on the flyer attached/below or simply fill out the MOMs Club Form to get on our email list.
Whether it’s to schedule play dates, chat about school events or simply have cocktails to talk about B&B (books & Bravo), our EPE MOM’s club is for you!

If you are a parent, staff member, teacher, or community member, and you have a question/concern you would like the LSC to address, please contact those people using their emails found here.
We are asking those who wish to make a comment or present a question during public participation at the next LSC meeting to complete this form. You have the option to have the Chair read the statements and questions aloud or to say them yourself. You can also sign up in person before the meeting begins.
