EPE Foundation Update – Mar 2018

Since its inception just three years ago, here are some of the things the Foundation has purchased/allocated funding for using your fundraising dollars for our school:

• (3) – 36 count Chromebook carts plus 10 additional replacement Chromebooks (1 cart for grades 3-5, 1 cart for grades 6-8, and one to float). These are used for classroom learning and standardized testing.
• Yearly subscriptions to IXL and Raz Kids – online math and reading curriculum used at school and at home
• Multiple iPads, cases, and charging stations
• Connected Math professional development training for upper-grade teachers
• Writing professional development for Kindergarten teachers
• Science and Social Studies supplementary materials for intermediate grades 3-5
• Classroom furniture
• Supplementary materials for kindergarten (alphabet cards, magic boards, letter sets, printing cards)
• Tech equipment for our school play
• Kindergarten “Cooking Club” after-school program
• Literacy/math supplementary materials, manipulatives, and sensory materials for diverse learners’ classrooms
• Partial funding for Wilson reading training for DL teacher
• PE equipment for recessis is used by all students
