EPE Foundation Update – Jan 2017

As staffing levels were maintained through the CPS budget this school year, two Chromebook carts were added using your fundraising dollars. These are available for use by all classrooms at EPE.

We also assisted in the payment of Raz Kids reading curriculum and IXL online math subscriptions for the 2016-17 school year. These programs are used at many grade levels.

We had our first staff grant cycle and received 18 grant requests. We were happily able to fund them all. The grants included teacher professional development for primary and upper grades, additional iPads and printers for middle grades, materials to support the art and music programs, literacy materials for primary classrooms, manipulatives and supplies for diverse learner classrooms, supplementary science and social studies materials for middle grades, and funding for an after-school class.
