Contact a teacher through the websiteSchool Vision and Theme REMINDER: School Pictures – September 25thYou probably received an email from our new school photographers, Empire Photography about school pictures next week. All ordering can be done online similar to the photographer we used to use a couple of years ago.  EPE’s Fall Fest 2024 is fast approaching and we want you to save the date, Saturday, October 19th, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. There will be games, crafts and Trunk or Treating! Please see the attached flyer for more information. The PTA is in need of volunteers to decorate trunks and pass out treats. Please sign up to be a Trunk or Treat Volunteer here. In addition, the PTA needs volunteers to help the day of the event. You can sign up to be a Fall Fest Volunteer here. We are collecting donations for the Trunk or Treat at school beginning September 30. You can send in or drop off nut-free candy or non-candy items, such as small toys and Halloween party favors. Thanks to generous donations in the past, we were able to replenish our “trunks” with additional treats throughout the event! We hope for this tradition to continue! The kids can “Feed the Monster” by Mr. Johnson’s desk with the donations you send in. Please direct any questions to Kendra Jordanof at [email protected]. A copy of the Sexual Health Scope and Sequence can be viewed on the CPS Sexual Health Website (https://tinyl.io/BQS5). This document includes topics that are recommended by CPS. Please understand that this is a tentative list and some topics might be omitted or topics from lower grades might be substituted based on the needs of the students. More information will be provided via email before lessons begin. REPOST: Current Open Parent Position (through June 2026): We currently have TWO open parent positions on the LSC and taking applications through Friday, October 4th by 3 pm (see attachment). Applications must be turned into the main office in person and the person must have TWO forms of identification. Applications will be reviewed in preparation for the October 8th LSC meeting. We are asking those who wish to make a comment or present a question during public participation at the next LSC meeting to complete this form. You have the option to have the Chair read the statements and questions aloud or to say them yourself. You can also sign up in person before the meeting begins.
